Can't download MapDroyd maps to PC

I seem to have difficulty downloading large Mapdroyd maps directly to my Droid X. It seems to start out OK but eventually I seem to lose a network connection and the process fails.

So I would much rather transfer the files to my PC and then I could download them to the Droid. But I can't figure out how that process is supposed to work despite reading several posts on the subject. Can someone tell me the specific steps?

Maybe i can help you out with your issue, i have no experience with this APP but cant find anyone having similar problems that you are explaining here.

I know when you try and download large maps on Google Maps, you can't because some are just too large, which could be the issue.

Otherwise you might want to try and redownload the app and reboot the phone.
