Sorry guys. I know there was a thread on this, but it appears to have disappeared, and I never fixed it, but now it has become a more pressing issue.
Whenever I receive an MMS, it says the file, or message or whatever, is downloading, then never downloads, or I get the failed to download notification in the taskbar 'Message not downloaded: Generic network failure'. As if to suggest all network failures are the same.
I have tried downloading in Handcent and stock Message app. I have tried it with Wi-Fi and with only 3G, and no luck. If someone could help me out here, I would be very grateful.
Side Note: I know this sounds like a dumb question, but it may be an underlying cause: I cannot find the 'Handcent' folder that should contain a Sub-directory 'Download'. Is that not where MMS downloads should go? I even searched the entire phone in Astro.
