Help Can't download sms

Hey anyone else having trouble downloading picture mail. coming from att and was wondering if I'm the only one. Hit download button and says error
 
are you on wifi? Its mms not sms, but anyway. i had a friend send me 2 pics of a shark he caught and i wasnt able to download them. I kept getting a download of message unsuccessful, and i turned off my wifi, and then they downloaded.
