Can't edit Springpad note

I migrated my notes from OneNote to Springpad by emailing them to my springpad email address. I can now see all my Springpad notes on my HTC Desire Z, but when I try to edit the text of any of my notes I get the error: "This note appears to have special formatting that cannot be edited on this device".
The notes in question are just plain text, some with bullet points. I can edit them fine using the Springpad web interface.
Can anyone suggest a way of making these notes editable on my phone?

I had the same problem. I had copied my notes from Evernote and also couldn't see any odd formatting. I took each note and cut the text to Notepad and then copied it back in and it works now. Kind of a pain, but it implies that if the text was created in Springpad it would be okay.
