Can't enable tasker accessibility service

How should I enable the tasker accessibility service? There is an entry for it in the "Accessibility" page of the phone's settings, but it says the service is off. If I click on the entry, an on/off toggle switch appears in the "off" position. If I click on that, I get a dialog saying "Tasker wants permission to monitor your actions. Allows talkback to know when you are using an app." I can click "Cancel" in this dialog, but I can't click OK.

I assume this means I can't use the Application-based profile I was trying to set up when I ran into this issue. In tasker, I chose "profiles", then "+", chose "Application", then selected "Internet" (the browser). Then I hit "App Selection" or the back key, and this informed me that the Accessibility Service is disabled.

I'm running Android version 5.0.1, just installed it this evening.

Do you have any other apps enabled under Accessibility?

It sounds like some other app is utilizing accessibility and/or displaying an overlay on your screen. Disable that app (temporarily) and I bet you'll be able to click OK.
