Help Can't end a call

My wife got the vortex a few days ago. She has had five calls that she couldn't get to end without pulling the battery. She left a voice mail to someone and the end call button wasn't responsive. Any one else having this issue? She likes the phone but this is a deal breaker if their isn't a fix.
 
Take it right to Verizon, tell them it has a problem, and demand a replacement. Sounds like you might have a dead-on-arrival unit on your hands.
 
Sorry to see your wife's had such trouble. Mine doesn't have any call/text issues. Hopefully the replacement phone will work fine for you. Any android phone seems to have some early units with glitches.
 
Sounds like a firmware issue to me. If you have the problem (even just once imo) Take the device to Verizon asap. They are usually very good about replacing defective products.
 
My wife got her new (not refurb) Vortex, within the first 24 hours she has had one call that she couldn't end. Looks like a Vortex issue. Maybe a new update will come soon and give it a fix. Gingerbread
 
After going into the "Running Services" on my Vortex, and stopping all the services that were running, I had the same issue. I found that if you leave "com.android.Dunserver" (LGDunService) running, the issue no longer happens.
 
I've had this problem when I've played a game for a long time, such as Angry birds.

Using advanced task manager, I go and kill all the apps at once and that seems to clear it. Also, clearing out the cache sometimes help. I use Cache Cleaner NG for that.
