Can't find a post I read regarding using ftp to access the sd part of my phone

Ok a couple of early mornings ago I had gotten ont he forum via tapatalk and was reading and came across a post talking about how our phones don't have an sd card and how to access files on it anyways. Specifically the sd card part of our phones.

A poster had posted some links and info on using a ftp app to do so. Well I did it and it worked...I was thrilled...HOWEVER I had to do a factory reset today and of course the app I had is gone and so is the bookmarked link to the instructions I had saved on my phone's browser.

When I try to look for the app on the play store I cannot find the right one. I remember it having a read icon.

I also cannot find the post here on the forum with the info,no matter how I try to search for it.

I'm posting this in hopes that someone will see it and either have been the author of the post with the ftp info or will recognize or know what post/thread I'm talking about???

If you can help I'd appreciate it.

Thanks :)

Not sure about the thread but you can go to the play store and look at all of the apps you have used and download it again

I didn't find the thread but figured out what it was that I used.

It was swiFTP.

So I'm good to go again. :)

That's true except I got the app called swiFTP off the web I guess as it's not available in the play store.

Thanks anyways. :)
