If you have installed the app from Playstore, the application file will be installed in a system folder which is not visible to you unless you have root access on your phone.
If you have downloaded an .apk file from somewhere it is probably in a folder called download or downloads in your phone memory. You could use a file manager app such as ESfile explorer to search for it.
