Help Can't Find My Pictures???

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Last Saturday, I took probably around 30 pictures on my Droid X. Everything seemed normal. The camera was working, it was snapping the picture, etc. Then the other day, I went to my gallery to find the pictures and......not a single one is there. Older pictures are there, but not the ones from Saturday.

Does this mean they are gone? Are they hidden somewhere? Is there somewhere else I can look for them?

The only other thing I noticed that day was that I tried to use my camcorder but it wouldn't work. I have a shortcut to the camcorder on one of the home pages of the phone. I tried to open the shortcut a few times, and the camcorder would open for a split second and then immediately close. So I stuck with the camera because it appeared to be working.

Go into settings >storage then unmount the sdcard, once it's done press mount sdcard, that may allow the pics to show up.

At this point I would turn the phone off remove the sdcard and use a computer to see if the pics are actually there.

OP - every once in a while, I take a picture that doesn't show up in the gallery. It's like the camera doesn't save them. Good reason to check to see if you got the picture before closing out the camera. Just FYI.
