Cant find Transformer in Tampa

I have called The following stores and they have all said they dont have the transformer and will not have it tommorrow. . . Any suggestions?

I am pulling out the little bit of hair I have left, I really wanted to pick one of these up tommorrow.

I had to ask at a few Best Buy's in my area before I found one that had any idea about this tablet. Seems some of the locations had a little problem with selling them off early over the weekend so I have to wonder if maybe the store managers haven't put a hush order on some stores. Needless to say, it is in stock out there. I'll be going back to the Best Buy that finally said they had stock of the tablets. The only down side is that they seemed very uncertain about keyboard docks. I was really hoping for the launch deal like they offered in the UK. Doesn't sound like we'll be getting that.

the Best Buy I went to tonight to look at the Acer tablet said they didn't have any of the Asus tablets and unless a special shipment came in tomorrow they wouldn't have any until at least the 4th.

Also Anybody know when these items will go live for sale? the facebook countdown asus is running is a little odd as it currently shows 1 day and 8 hours left until release.

It should launch tomorrow. Lots of managers and employees dont really know what came in on the shipments. A lot of them are just a big box in the back until they open it for release that day. I worked at Circuit City and thats how it was. Only a select few in the back room knew what the box was.

They will be available (at some locations at least it seems) 4/26 Tuesday. I plan on being at Best Buy as soon as they open. Just wish I knew better info about the dock availability though. I haven't heard of anyone having one in hand yet other than the reviewers.

I am also having the same issue. I just got a hold of a Best Buy that said they anticipate a "dropped shipment" from UPS tomorrow. Supposedly this occurs around noon or 1:00 pm. I hope it is in before 11:00 otherwise I will have to wait until after work, if there is any left in stock :/

Maybe I'll just wait until tomorrow before I start looking around everywhere to ensure that more places have received their shipments. I realize that this release is a big thing in the Android world, but compared to the Apple releases, this pales in comparison. I think I may be able to pick one up locally pretty easily, especially if my Xoom experience is any indication.
