Root Cant get Android Keyboard to work in Flash

[jen0va]

Hi, I've recently installed a few browsers on my rooted nexus 7 along with sideloading flash. Flash is working well, videos play fine. The problem that I'm having is that I was hoping to be able to work on my Calculus homework with my nexus. We use MyMathLab, which is an online website that uses flash. It works well, I can see the homework questions and can select multiple choice answers. I just can't type in any values. When I click on a field to type in my answer to one of the questions, the android keyboard doesn't come up. Do I have to use a usb or bluetooth keyboard for this? It would be really nice if the touchscreen keyboard would work.

Have you tried any third party keyboards? Has this worked before?
It's possible it's a limitation of the website.

I actually had this happen on my HTC Rezound with my banks flash site (before they had an app for that, LOL). Selecting an input field would not bring up the keyboard, had to manually bring it up from the menu. Check to see if you have a toggle soft keyboard option, or try another keyboard as mentioned above.
