Can't get google account to connect

I still have a Pixel 2xl and having a problem. I am trying to get my Google account to connect on my phone. When you go to Google playstore it says it needs authentication. When you go to your Google account it says no internet connection. I have read different blogs/articles and watched videos. They all said to delete your history and or cache on playstore app. I tried everything and even tried to delete and re-adding my Google account. Nothing is working. Does anyone have any ideas.

Thanks

Yes it is connected both to wifi and Verizon network. My wifi and network work perfectly fine doing everything else. Just will not connect to my Google account with the above issue

does your phone generally connect to your wifi? and the only issue is that your google account says that it can't connect to wifi, correct?

My phone is mostly connected to Wi-Fi. Secondly it doesn't matter if it's Wi-Fi or Verizon network. Google Playstore say authentication needed and when you go to your Google account or sync account to phone. It just says no internet connection. Everything else done Wi-Fi or through the network works perfectly fine.

hmmmmm, i would try rebooting your router, just to rule out the router. also try rebooting the phone as well.

I did try rebooting my phone but no luck. I personally don't think the router is the problems because at my work I use Wi-Fi and still nothing changes

Tried and no luck. Any other suggestions. Also here is a screen shot of problem

I believe Google itself is the culprit then, since everything else is working.
Have you checked your trusted devices within your Google settings to make sure this device is on the list?
If it's not there that is the reason it's not connecting.
