Help cant get my downloaded apps on new note

help please got a replacement note yesterday when i set it up it has not downloaded my apps from play store that i had on my other note

Maybe you did not check the box to keep it backed up.

I had apps on my Galaxy Tab, and when I bought a Note, I had to go to the Play Store and choose which of my apps to install (didn't have to buy again). If I recall, it wasn't automatic. At first I thought it would be annoying, but after the fact, I was glad, because there were many apps on my Tab that I didn't use much and I just skipped redownloading on my Note. Kept things cleaner.
