Root Can't get S-OFF (sorry for all the questions)

I have gone by this How To: Gain Permanent Root and S-OFF on the T-Mobile MyTouch 4G / HTC Glacier | TheUnlockr model and everything is fine until I get to the hboot screen and it says S-ON. I have read that some people are having issues if they are on hboot 0.86.0000 which I am.

Any tips on how to get S-OFF?

TRUE PermaRoot and the ULTIMATE S=Off!!! Check this out even if you're rooted!!! - xda-developers

Use that, works perfect.

Strange. I literally JUST did the procedure to do s-off and beforehand it said i had .86, and now it's .85.

but yeah it worked for me immediately

I had the same issue, bootloader 86. TRUE PermaRoot and the ULTIMATE S=Off!!! Check this out even if you're rooted!!! - xda-developers definitely is what you need to do if you can't get root to stick with other method.
