Help Can't hear on calls

The only way people can hear me on calls is when I have speaker on. I've tried everything I know of to fix this but have had no luck.

what have you tried so as not to repeat the suggestions you may have already attempted?

Made sure all the call settings were turned on and checked to make sure ok google was turned on and I factory reset

Could be a fault with your LG phone then. Manufacturer repair or replacement required. Is it under warranty?

try it in safe mode. if that is still happening and since you did a factory reset, then it is most likely a hardware issue and will require what @mikedt suggested. either repair or replace the phone.

I suffered the exact same problem with my S8+. I tried all the tricks and finally took it to a repair shop. They replaced the microphone but that did not fix the problem. Fortunately, they refunded my money and I traded the phone in for a new phone. I wish I had some clever suggestion to try. I hope your results aren't the same as mine... unless you are in the mood to replace your phone. Good luck
