Can't hear recorded audio

[Android Question]

I just posted a questions about not being able to hear audio on my Samsung Galaxy 3. (could hear phone calls).
I thought I'd post the solution. I had paired my wireless earbud with the phone through bluetooth. When I clicked on the bluetooth setting, I saw that "calls" and "media" were both checked, which meant they would both be heard through my earbud.

When I unchecked media. I could hear the audio (without the headset).

Unfortunately I could not post this as a reply on my original question because I didn't have a login but hope this helps!

Most people posting your question here, when told to check Bluetooth, would get insulted. We're treating them like idiots. Thanks for proving that even intelligent people sometimes overlook simple things.
