Try the free app 'My Fake Location' and you can be anywhere you like!

I'm on a super secret assignment here, for instance.
If i were moving (but I'm not) you could see me moving on that map.

Carrier IQ. Just a thot.

On your phone, the carrier you are on can track your location using network towers. As long as you have cellular service you can be tracked. As for your tablet, any wifi router you use has a location id.

Then what's the point of disabling gps & wifi location in settings, if apps can access my location anyway?

To give citizens a false sense of privacy and security while Big Brother can still track them 24/7/365...

They know where you were and where you are, but not how you got there on wifi only
