Root cant instal apps due to insufficient space??

as the title states, im unable to add any more apps altho i have plenty of space. ive done a search and seen plenty of people with the same problem, but the threads are a year or more old.

has any solution been found to this yet, other than to do a titanium backup and reflash?

thanks

hmmm.... no replies on here so i thought i may as well just nandroid and reinstal rom. however, when i went into recovery, it said it was in safe mode and to wipe cache and reboot recovery. i wiped cache but it still said the same, so i wiped dalvik cache too. then rebooted recovery and there was no safe mode, so i guessed id done some good.

i went back to the market and it now lets me instal apps.

any ideas why this happened, and what ive actually wiped?

thanks

Sorry for the late reply. I had a friend who had this problem on a rooted HTC Desire. I asked him about it and he told me it was fixed by going to recovery (power off than power on + volume down, than select recovery) and clearing the cache. After that for good measure he found an app called market fix and installed it. Problem did not come back.
