Help Cant install 2 apps , no memory?

Hey everybody my fiance just got this phone 2 days ago from someone after a factory reset or 2 and cannot install 2 apps on there, it says.there isn't enough space. The only app she has is FB and when I try to move it to sd it says its 0kb.... please help!

Best thing tis to root it and install a custom ROM. I've got WildChild3 (Based on Gingerbread 2.2.5 minus most of HTC Sense). With 40+ Apps installed and moved/linked to a 16GB SD card, yesterday I had 79.6MB free.
