Cant install apps

Someone I know owns a samsung galaxy s plus. Since today he can't install apps from google play.

When trying to install it downloads, but then the installation-bar keeps running without installing the app.

He told me that he had removed some apps in settings --> applications (but he says he only removed downloaded apps.)


How can we solve this problem? any help is appreciated

Has he tried clearing the cache on the google play app and see if that helps?

Wiping the "data" clean from the Play Store should have things running normal again. (Applications ▶ Downloaded or Storage use ▶ Play Store.)

The problem is solved, thanks.

I found a thread on the internet where it seems to be a general problem for the galaxy s plus. The sollution is to remove the updates from the google play store, then it istalls 1.4.3 instead off 1.4.3.17 (I think this were the version numbers)
