Root Cant install darky's rom

hi there,

first of all: i'm dutch, so my englisch isn't very good
i tried to install darky's rom 9.5 on my galaxy s, but it failed.
galaxy s is rooted, with z4root
i copied the zip file called Darkys_v9.5_Extreme_Edition to my internal sd card
when i go to recovery mode, i've 5 options:

-reboot system now
-apply sdcard: update.zip
-wipe data/factory reset
-wipe cache partition
-format internal sd-card

i suppose that i have to choose second option.
but when i try to openen it, it says:

--install from sdcard.....
finding update package
opening update package
verifying update package
E: failed to open /mnt/internal_sd/update.zip (No suck file of directory)
E: signature verification failed
Installation aborted

I understand that i should not choose update.zip, but i cant choose.
it starts immediately with update.zip

you need recovery 2e. are you on a stock firmware? you need to flash a kernel with recovery 2e, using odin. This should help:

Sounds more like you don't have the CWM update.zip file. Did you download that and place it on the root of your internal SD?

Hey you need not worry as stated bt the other user in this thread you need cwm to install custom roms. In the market download rom manager and install cwm from there. Its a free app and you will get cwm from there and install cwm. Download the app and install cwm from the options in the app. After that go to recovery and select apply sdcard update.zip option. You will have to do that twice for cwn to load and then in cwn select install zip from sdcard option and then select darkys rom. That should do it for you mate!
