I've been researching how to root my Sony Xperia ZL (C6506) running 4.3 (10.4.B.0.569)
I've found a cool tutorial that shows how to do it step by steo, but when I try to do step one, which install Philz Recovery 6, even if it's the one for my exact model, when I run the install file on my computer i get error messages like "This device is not supported" or "failed to connect to addresses"
USB debugging is enabled, i downloaded the install files from different sources and did everything like in the tutorial and still nothing. Actually, they say that when I run the install file, my phone should go in recovery automatically, but it actually prompts me to choose if my device is rooted with super user or unrooted (which is the option I chose)
Is there something i'm missing?
