Root cant load any roms

i just got my replacement d2 but now when i try to load a rom, it wont let me, or it will freeze during the install. i cant figure what else to do. i did factory reste and cleared cache and still nothing

Time for the stupid questions:

1) Are you rooted?
2) Did you install bootstrap before attempting?
3) Did you create a viable back-up before flashing in ROMS?
4) What ROM are you trying to install? (Also, are you using PC, MAC or Linux?)

Those answers should help us provide you with some good info.

1. yes im rooted
2. i do got bootstrap
3. i do got a back up saved
4. i tried liberty, fission and gummyjar with the same results, im using pc

Ok, a couple more basic questions:

1) Have you been able to SBF the phone back to stock? (Just for practice)
2) It's a D2, not a D2G, right?

I am at a loss. My guess would be to try again step by step. First acquiring root, then installing Bootstrap and creating yourself a stable back up, then trying to flash the ROM.

Please describe exactly what's happening. Sometimes a "freeze" is really the rom writing itself into your system. I have the DX and gingerbread took about a thousand years to get past the bootloader screen. That confuses people. You have to wait. Let us know.
