Root Can't mount SD card after factory data reset

Well I tried a factory data reset and erased all the info on my SD card. I was trying to give the illusion that I was not rooted so I could turn my phone in to Verizon because the headphone jack and the charger jack are both...well...jacked.

So, I've ended up with an SD card with nothing on it that won't boot. I'm running CM9 and would love some help. Just need to get my SD card working so I can go through the unroot process.

Thanks

Please tell me you backed up your SD before you did that.

Found another SD card to finish the un-root. Then found my adapter to plug my old SD card into my comp. to format it. Thanks for the help. I will definitely backup my ENTIRE SD card next time. :)
