Help Can't open message full screen

[Broni]

I'm pretty sure it started with Android 4.3 update couple of weeks ago.

Before I could tap any message in any conversation and it'd open full screen.
That would allow me to say select some text like an address and copy it to the Clipboard.

Since the update tapping on a message does nothing.
I can hold my finger on some message and it'll give me following options:
Delete
Copy
Forward
Lock
View message details

No option to open the message full screen.

My main question is...
Is it something about my phone or is it by a design?

I think this is just part of the new update, myself and a few other people with S3's have lost this feature

Thank you for confirming

I think it's really dumb move if I can't extract partial text from the message.
I had to actually install 3rd party Clipboard but it all takes too many steps to copy an address from a message to Google maps for instance.

Interestingly I can open MMS message full screen but not any regular text message.
