Deleted everything out of internal storage file trying to make room and now my pics wont open and when i play a video i get a "unsupported file type" message

Well what did you delete? Are you rooted? You could have deleted the system file needed to read pictures.
If you been deleting stuff out of system, rooted, and messed things up. More than likely you'll have to re-flash the manufacturer firmware or a custom ROM complete.
