Help Can't receive MMS from friend who has T-mobile

The last couple of weeks I haven't been able to receive MMS messages from a friend of mine who uses T-mobile. Is this a common occurrence? I am about 90% sure that I was able to receive them before the last couple of weeks.

I've tried flashing a couple of different ROMs hoping that might alleviate the situation but thus far it has not.

I receive MMS messages from friends that have AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon just fine.

Anyone know how to alleviate this?

do you know anyone else on tmobile that can send you a text? maybe it isnt a problem with your phone maybe its a problem with the tmobile network?
I did a quick google search and found some links that are for tmobile customers saying that it looks like the message is sent but ends up not being delivered.

my brother has tmobile and i have no problem getting his messages (he is in NY nd I'm in TX right now)

you're able to receive MMS (picture messages)? I can receive SMS (text messages) with no issue.

And I'm almost positive that until the last couple weeks I was receiving picture messages as well from this person with no issue, but have not been able to do so for the past couple of weeks.

yeah i get pics from him. i think like a 1/2 to a year ago i had problems getting any texts from my cousin on sprint and then she found out there was a network issue it took a week to resolve but finally started getting her texts/pics. her issue was sending to at&t and verizon but she could text my brother on tmobile.

i would almost think your situation is similar since you are able to receive them from at&t, sprint and verizon correct? does your friend have any issues sending to other people with another carrier?

i would say you call at&t and your friend call tmobile but im sure each will play the blame game

Is your friend using the stock text messaging program in the phone? I read somewhere else a problem with using aftermarket text message/mms program. Apparently, some of the aftermarket programs don't send the text messages through the correct server.
