Help Can't receive text messages after factory restore

Jay Boy

After i restored my nexus 5 to it's factory settings, I am not able to send or receiver text messages and when I call my own number it sais that my number is not in use. I have no idea how tofix this. I already tried to take my Sim card out and put it back in but that didn't work.

That doesn't sound like a phone problem. Because when you call a mobile that's not responding, out of range or is off, you should get a message telling you that the phone hasn't responded or it maybe power-off, or it goes to voice-mail if that's setup.

Number not in use
usually means the carrier has disconnected or suspended service, for whatever reasons, e.g. out of credit on pre-paid or the bill payment is overdue. Try your SIM in another phone, but I don't think you've got a phone problem here and that you need to contact your carrier.
