Help Can't remove account

Hi,

I am trying to remove my gmail account from my phone, but it's not possible. I have done multiple factory resets, but it did not work. Is there a way to remove it?

So you are saying that if you go to menu>settings>privacy>factory data reset the phone reboots and the phone is still registered to the original gmail account? It doesn't prompt you for a gmail account at first boot after the reset?

What kind of phone is it?

It's better to have owners of the same model see this. It might be specific to your model.

I also noticed that I'm not able to download apps as it will always say "download unsuccessful".
