Help me remove apk

Guest
Two months ago, before the first crash of my SD card I had some application installed( i can't remember which one was it, because I had too many at that time) that would allow me to remove .APK files after I have downloaded and installed any app from Google Play Store and it seems to have been doing its job great, but then my SD card got corrupted, lost data and rendered my applications useless - which led to a factory reset. NOTE: I did the first factory reset because even though after the crash 80% of the apps were useless/removed, the internal storage of the phone was almost full while the SD card was almost empty(I used the option to install everything on SD card: apps, etc.)

Unfortunately 2 weeks after the factory reset and usage of phone, the SD card crashed again which made me perform another reset(I did it 3 days ago, I also removed the SD card of fear losing information again). And because no SD card means less storage for apps I decided to be more careful about the storage space. Today I have installed ES File Explorer just to find out my Lenovo A5000 has around 200MB bloatware in the form of Asphalt 8, few other games and various Yandex applications. These 200MB were all APK files. Funny enough it didn't find the APK of AVG AntiVirus and one game, both of which were installed the previous day. So here is the real problem: when trying to delete the files it said that the action can't be performed.

So the question is: Is there a way to delete this bloatware without root, and if I need to root is it worth it and what damage it may cause. Also if anyone knows what the app might have been(the one I said above about auto apk removal upon successful install.)

It can't find the apks of apps you installed through the Play Store because you don't have root, hence can't see the directories those are installed in.

So where are these other apks on your device? My guess at why you can't remove them would be that they are owned by the root account - if you select one and look at the "details" what does that tell you about file ownership and permissions? But if that guess it right you will need root to do anything about them.

Well these apks are in the in the system folder in a subfolder "appbackup". I realised I will need to root my phone, but it still has year and a half warranty and I know there are quite the risks rooting a phone, the worst of them bricking the phone and not being able to recover it. I know that rooting gives you "unlimited" power, but exactly in my case: is it worth it ? - just to clear out those 200mb worth of bloatware and remove apks further to improve storage.
As by now I have 4,6 gigs of free storage.
