Can't remove root...

I used unrevoked 3 and am using wireless tether. But if I try to delete super user permission, everything is greyed out except clear data button.how can I fix this? Thanks

.....you're trying to uninstall SU?

....huh??

If you want to remove something's permissions, go into the SU icon and tap the thing you don't want to have permission anymore. Change it to deny. If you don't want SU anymore, unroot.

If you delete the SU some of the rooted only apps will not work so you might as well remove those apps, then unroot.

Will I see on this forum people can uninstall the unrevoked app. Mine doesn't have that app only the SU app which is clear data only. I know mine is rooted because I can wirelessly tether. My reason to unroot is so I know how to do it in case of a warranty issue

I have the Evo. I just read what you just said, to download a stock RUU on my computer and flash that exe to my phone. Does that sound about right? Thanks.
