cant respond to group text

i have a Verizon Droid Motorola razor phone.
up until the last month i have had no problem with responding to group texts.
Now I can not respond to group texts.
acts as thou they send then in 20-30 min comes back with a red circle in the right bottom corner and says message failed .
I work at a church and it is very important that i be able to correspond with all the ministers on important issues.

First thing to check - how many of them that don't receive the texts are using iPhones? There's nothing anyone can do about that problem until someone (or something) convinces Apple that they are not the universe. Apple uses their own type of messaging, not the type the rest of the univese uses. Sometimes it works with the rest of the universe, sometimes it doesn't. (Seriously - iMessage is not SMS, no matter how often Apple sticks a fruit in its ears and yells "is so".)

If it's with other Android phones, we need more details. Have you or any of them recently received the 4.3 update (especially on S3 phones)? That update has many (some still unknown) bugs. This could be one of them.
