cant restore contacts

[Android Question]

had to reset my lg motion 4g and made sure to backup things to sd card before.Backup was succesfull.After the reset i tried to restore everything but it did not restore the contacts or Media need the contacts badly

Welcome to Android Forums.

If you open up the PlayStore app it will ask you to sign in to your Google account. This will restore your contacts synced with your Google account.
Make sure Auto Sync is turned on (menu/settings/accounts and sync).
