Root Cant root as of June 2013 T-Mobile + Metro PCS merge

When T-mobile and Metro PCS merge they did a overnight system update, the next morning my phone could not connect to data network and would crash at the moment of 4g network connection (force close).
Called metro pcs, they tried reprogramming but could not because it would force close while trying to connect to *228. They instructed me to do a hard reset, and it did not work. I went to the Metro PCS Corporate store in Allen, TX. They said that their machine would do an update required for the merging of networks (metro and t-mobile) they mentioned that many phones did not update completely and people had to come in and get it done, and that some LG Connect 4G got bricked in the process and actually had to give them a new phone.. which i was one of them..
My phone was rooted before, so i could removed bloatwear and do wifi tether, but after hard resetting i figured they would know.. still not sure if they do, but they did a manufactures warranty to give me a new one..
I received the phone i want to say June 7th, 2013. And i think there is still no root for the new update..
I never downgraded before, but i dont know if it would affect the update for the merging of networks.. since the IT guy there said that the update was due to the fact that the two companies where merging im not sure if downgrading will affect data connection in any way Im any iffy about it..
Any one have a clue on whats going on with that?

I previously rooted with AIOwithCWMTOUCH

LG-MS840
Android VS. 2.3.6
Kernel 2.6.35.11-perflge@android-build #1
Build # GRK39F
SW vs. MS840VV5
HW vs. Rev.1.0

Vv5 is a no no for rooting like the last lost said and the 4g force close just switch from metropcs only to automatic for a day for to and switch back just tower mergers going through :D

vv3, vv4 will not work anymore. We are screwed, you can go back to zva or find/beg someone to root vv5 other than that we are screwed (vv3 was the only one that could be rooted and it was not a good root IMO)! Thanks Metro YOU SUCK!!!!! You finally figured out a way to screw us out of Root! Way to go you Corporate Hacks!!!!

I have been getting that error for like 3 days now. How long is it going to take them to finish? I have to have root and I can't do anything with this error popping up every 7 seconds..... "Sorry! com.android.phone has unexpectdly stopped. Please try again!", over and over and over and over for 3 days now... The only thing that fixes it is going to vv5 or back down to ZVA (which ZVA sucks badly but it can be rooted)...

Vv3 is still roptabke well at least my copy and the error u get is just a way of saying sorry were migrating towers etc

Yea I could still root vv3 but it's impossible to do anything with that error. I went back to zva and so far everything is working fine. Strange that zva still works huh?

Still running Number Two here which is ZVA, was debating on running Miami Guy's VV3 rom, but I guess I avoided something pretty bad by being lazy and not doing it...

How are you guys rooting VV3? I tried the all in one (both playfull's and shabby's) with no luck (same errors i got in VV5 and VV4)

Downgrading now to ZVA but still would like to know.

Install vv3, then do a factory reset, then use the root software that you used to root zva and you are good to go.

So what exactly is wrong with ZVA? I'm currently using Broken Out Rom which is ZVA and I personally don't think ZVA is bad at all...why do some of you think it sucks badly?

ZVA is what I'm using also, it's the only firmware that works now on mpcs/Tmobile besides vv5. ZVA just gets the battery really hot and you don't really get that much tine out of the battery, plus 4G cuts in and out a lot. I'm having to use it cause I want root and vv5 can't be rooted... Supposedly I'm the only one in Georgia that has a working connect using ZVA, go figure... :-)
