Root Can't root, unlocked the bootloader, please help!

Hello!

I've unlocked the bootloader on my HTC Wildfire S, but for some reason I can't root the phone. I've tried HTC Super Tool, which at first froze on me but after using the second prep option /says/ the phone is rooted, but doesn't actually root the phone. I've tried SuperOneClick but that just freezes on me on step #7. The phone is S-ON because I can't figure out a way to get around it. Please tell me how to root my phone!

EDIT: This is what I get from SuperTool. It has no noticeable effect on my phone.

EDIT2:
I tried the other method, and when I do that and click "Recovery" it boots to the HTC logo and then shows a ! surrounded by two circular arrows. Then it shows me a red ! surrounded by a triangle. I have to manually reboot from that point, but the phone itself starts up fine.

EDIT3:
Turns out that happens regardless of whether the root.zip is on my phone.

You need either S-OFF or Unlocked Bootloader with S-ON to root your phone. You really no need to put S-OFF once unlocked the bootloader.
Have you installed CWM using fastboot cmds...?
