Help Can't save updates

I've been having a problem saving any updates lately because the phone keeps telling me there's insufficient space. This isn't true however as I have more than 3 GB of free space left on my memory card. For some reason the phone only wants to use it's internal memory which is currently too low to save anything.
Does anybody know how to solve this issue?

You would unfortunately need to clear some space in the internal memory as all application updates go to the source of the installed application which is generally stored on the internal phone memory.
