I connected my ASUS TF300 to my Windows 7 desktop to try moving some files. The "Internal Storage" drive is displayed in Explorer. (I don't have an SD card) I could see the various folders.
However, when I browse to one of the folders using Win Explorer, I only saw 2 files. If I look at that same folder on the tablet, there are about a dozen files.
As a test, I renamed one of the "missing" files (a PDF) on the tablet using the file manager and then it showed up in Windows. I renamed another, and then it showed up too.
The files in question I retrieve from my Microsoft Skydrive folder using the "Explorer for Skydrive" app I got from Googleplay.
Does anyone know why this happens and how I can pervent it without having to rename every file?
btw: there was nothing special about the file names. special characters, spaces, length doesn't make a difference.
