Help Can't send attachments in Messaging anymore

Since last week, I can't seem to send attachments (pictures, contact cards, &c) anymore. I did try the Hangouts version of messaging, then switched back to the stock messaging. But not no attachments go through. They all fail to send. Regular text messages are fine though. I uninstalled the Hangouts update but still no pictures.

Have you checked your message settings to make certain the size limit is set large enough to send an attachment? I'm grasping at straws here.... just a thought. Good luck.

Removing the battery and then reinserting it and restarting the device fixed it.
