My wife's Droid Pro can't send or receive text messages. Calls and web work fine, attempting to send a text results in a message of "Text message not sent." Tried clearing cache, *228, battery pull while phone was on, and even a factory reset. Any other suggestions?
EDIT: I briefly activated another phone on my wife's line and was able to send/receive texts just fine. I reactivated the Droid Pro and had the same problems as before. It is apparently an issue with the phone itself.
I spent nearly an hour with Verizon customer service and tech support. Both told me that I had done most of their work for them. (Thanks mostly to the stuff I found by searching these forums!) A replacement (refurb) is on its way.
EDIT#2: Replacement arrived today and everything works fine!
