Cant send videos on snapchat or instagram with lg connect??? please help

So everytime I try sending a video on snapchat my friends will message me back saying that the video cannot be played or that it appears to play with a black screen and no audio? Is anyone else having this issue?

Also I don't have the option to create or post videos with my LG connect on instagram, why so? Does anyone else have this same issue?

Recording video is only supported for devices runnings ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich) and above.
