Can't set up Exchange email - help!

Hello all.

I'm a bit of a slow adopter, got my first smart phone thing yesterday. So far so good though.

I'm trying to get my work email on the phone (it's a Samsung Galaxy if that helps). I put in the domain and user name as domain\user name, then my normal password. Then the server in the format name.dyndns.org/exchange. But I get the message "user name or password incorrect". I'm 100% positive they are correct as they are exactly the same details I use when I log on to Microsoft web access to get my emails. If I spell the server name wrong it tells me I can't connect to the server so I assume this part is correct. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Can't offer specific help 'cause I don't use Exchange, but mail problems are usually something in the settings such as security type, port number, username, etc.

Enhanced Email in the Play Market is specially suited for use with Exchange and might be worth trying. If you still have problems Enhanced Email has a very helpful website and user forum. You can download a free trial from the EE site.

Hello and welcome aboard.

Try this: Tap menu - settings - downloaded or storage use - open the mail application and clear data from the app.

Note: Make sure not to put in the wrong username and password. Best of luck.
