Apps Cant set variables in the app settings screen GPS

Hi All,

First of all Im a noob,as you will see from the code and possibly the question.
Anywho..the the crux of my question,i am working ona project which requires us to develop an app which will record and log the gps position of the phone,The logging frequency must be adjustable. I have found an app which does all of the above and far far more however we must put our own stamop on this code

The original app uses a message pop up box to get a user to put input into it to set the logging variables,I wish to use 3 radio buttons.

I cant under stand why using the code i have i cannot alter the settings in app settings,I have re written some of the code and i hope to ser the variables depending on which padio button is clicked

Any help would be appreciated.


The original app and accosiated files are quite complex,I have been working on stripping off a lot of the functions and getting just what we need it to do ,Ii have it working bar getting to access and alter the app settings which is proving very frustrating
