can't shut off vibrate

Last week I was notified on my phone of the new Android update, so I down loaded it. Now my phone vibrates when I get a notification on facebook, or a new message. It used to make the dew drop sound? So I went into settings and made sure vibrate is off (I also checked the volume) and dew drop is on. I also went into the start up menu (when you hold the button down as if to power off a few settings come up) and vibrate is off sound is on.
It still vibrates when I get a notification? How do I get it to go back to dew drops?

I am a newbie with this phone, sorry if this seems like a stupid question....
