Help Can't stay connected to VPN network.

I use a VPN service for privacy reasons. I've set it up on my S3, and can easily connect to it...but whenever my phone auto-switches between wi-fi and 4G, it disconnects the VPN. Does anyone know of a way to keep the VPN connection active?
