Can't stop a download

I accidentally clicked the download button on one of the pics on my redditmag+ app. It shows in the drop down menu but doesn't show progress. It just shows a solid bar with lines running through it. I have restarted the phone, turned off the download manager, and uninstalled/reinstalled the reddit app. Nothing is working.

How do I get it to stop?
 
I was uploading a pic to FB, it stuck at 20% so I started again. Same problem, it kept showing it is uploading. Still showing after 2 restart. So I turn it off the 5 minutes, then the upload bar disappeared.
 
I was able to stop the freezing by going to Settings/Applications/Manage Applications/All/Download Manager/ Clear data . After removing the battery and all that of course.
But I still can't attempt to download any update 'cause it freezes again :(

I hope someone can solve this one soon.
