Can't Stream Audio Over Network

[joblot1976]

I cant find a way to stream music from Nexus 5 to my denon avr 2113 receiver over wireless network. I have no issues doing it from my iPhone, HTC 1 and Samsung Note 2.

I tried default music player on Nexus 5 and even installed few other music app, but they don't even display stream icon on the UI to choose my receiver.

Am I missing something or Nexus cannot do it? Please suggest. Thanks

worse case, you should be able to grab the free allcast app on google play.

then use your denon as a DLNA renderer

AllCast should make the casting button appear in the stock google play music app, if its not there currently.
