Cant stream internet radio?

Im trying to stream UC Berkeley radio and it's not working.


http://icecast.media.berkeley.edu:8000/kalx-56.mp3.m3u

Any suggestions? Used to stream on my BB with no issues.

I believe the media player will only handle local m3u files, not ones streamed over the internet. There may be An App For That, but so far I haven't been able to find one.

Found one. Not sure if it works, but here:

Thanks...trying it now. Funny, I had that app previously and forgot about it.

It claims to do m3u, so fingers crossed...

Hmmm...getting "invalid playlist" error...I'll have to look into this more. Bummer...

Not sure if this will help but I've been trying to find an app that will allow me to listen to WUMB.org (folk radio).
Finally found one that almost does: A Online Radio.
It finds WUMB but there is a bug preventing it from running.
I've told by 'A Online Radio' that this should be fixed on Friday (11/20).

Maybe this app will do what you need?

Thanks...I tried A Online Radio and also OR Player and Cherry Radio...Cherry crashed so I removed it. A Online and OR both failed to play the Berkeley station...I guess I'll wait until Friday and try A Online again.

I confirmed the station does play on my PC, so it is working...

Turns out that devoid live and so online radio both work fine.

A Online Radio released version 1.0.5 and it now plays my one and only radio station: WUMB!
