Can't toggle between radio apps on Android 15

I hope I'm asking this question in a way that makes sense. Trying to google it has been a waste of time.
Before my S23 updated to Android 15 a few weeks ago, if I had 2 or more radio apps open (for example iheart and audacy), I could swipe down and both apps would be visible for me to swipe between them, if I wanted to switch from one app to the other. I'm not talking about playing both of them at the same time (which google seems to think I'm doing).
Since the move to Android 15, when I go from one app to the other, the first app disappears from the top of my screen, so if I want to go back to it, I have to open the app from my app list and start it over. Does anybody know if I can go back to the previous setting? Thanks.

Like as in drop down and stick with your lock screen type of deal?

Will any app disappear from the top of your screen when you go from one app to the other? Or is it only radio apps that behave?

The thing is why do you need 2 radio apps open at the same time. When I go from the SiriusXM app to the LiveOne app for music I close the one out I'm listening to and open the other one up that I want to switch to. I just don't see alot of people having this issue because closing one out and opening the other just seems logical. Not trying to sound rude in anyway so I hope it doesn't come across that way.

Thanks for your input. There are two or three radio apps I use, and only one radio app plays the stations I listen to, so I have to use two or three different apps. It's just weird that they took away the ability to view all the apps and switch between them. I will contact Samsung and follow up with them. Just another frustrating thing that happens when new versions come out!
