Help Can't transfer files via USB.

I just got mine and love it...but I just tried to transfer some photos onto it and it tries but can't transfer them. I can transfer from the tablet to my computer but not vice versa. Anyone experience this? A cure?

I tried to copy files from a micro SD card...no dice. I tried to make a new folder under pictures:fail.

I tried making a new folder under the main storage: success! I renamed it to pics and I am now transferring files to it. Obviously I can't change ANYTHING in the stock picture or music folders which is weird and useless for me. It appears I have create my own folders and ignore the stock ones on this device. Hopefully I will be able to transfer via USB now.

what file format are your images in that you are trying to transfer? There actually are different types of jpgs for example. At work if we don't use andting other then a standard format jpg vs an optimised jpg our monitors will display all qwerky video noise in distortion. This may be the case with the tablets that it just does not like the file format. Have you tried other images or a different thumb drive? Machines I work with that use thumb drives can be very testy as to what they want to work with. Also I don't know if your thumb drive has to be NTFS, FAT32, .... for the tablet to use it. An easy way to check for that would be to copy a file from the TP, rename it, and try to copy it back.
