Hi there - just got my G3S and have it configured to connect to my work Exchange 2010 account using Activesync with the stock (samsung) email app.
All this works fine, except I can't seem to turn off PUSH. I really don't like my phone getting my emails while I am at my desk, so I always prefer manual mode.
I have configured the sync settings to be manual for both peak and non peak times, and also have even turned off all peak days in the little calendar, and still get notified whenever an email comes into my work account.
I could turn off notifications for the emails, which would solve one problem, however I am also trying to optimize my battery, and from past experience, push email tends to be a drainer.
Running out of ideas - is this a bug?
